North Pole Celebrates Christmas 2000

The Christmas Display once again lights up the papers. A very flattering article appears in the 8 December 2000 SF Chronicle - East Bay edition.

More than 300 guests attended the opening ceremonies on Saturday, December 2. The display opens each year on the first Saturday of December. The Livermore-Granada Chorale leads a candlelight procession down Hillcrest Avenue, ending at the darkened Casa del Pomba. After a short ceremony, and the cry of "Let There Be Light", all the lights are turned on.
